Discover the mesmerizing Starry Theater, located in the breathtaking Shapotou Scenic Area of Zhongwei, Ningxia. This extraordinary venue serves as the real-life filming location for the popular TV show "Where Are We Going, Dad?". The theater boasts a unique architectural design, featuring a 60m diameter inflatable semi-spherical structure, surrounded by a 3.15m high circular glass curtain wall. With a total height of approximately 25.5m and a volume of 56,520m³, the theater accommodates 592 seats, offering an average volume of 95.5m³ per seat. It truly shines as a radiant gem in the midst of the desert.
The construction of this theater posed significant challenges due to its unconventional building techniques. With no solid walls, the interior is composed of modular air structures. Additionally, the harsh desert environment, characterized by extreme temperature fluctuations, further complicated the acoustic decoration process.
To ensure timely completion, we custom-produced over 3,000 square meters of acoustic decoration materials within a week, delivering them to the construction site with utmost dedication. These materials primarily consist of tailor-made wide-frequency sound-absorbing materials and various other noise-reducing and shock-absorbing materials.
In just over a month, we successfully completed the entire process, from the production and transportation of acoustic materials to the acoustic decoration construction. Following the construction, the theater underwent professional acoustic testing, and all indicators were found to comply with national standards.
