The Minqing County Meixi New Town Science and Technology Museum project is a prime example of effective use of sound-absorbing materials. Located in Meixi New Town, Minqing County, Fuzhou City, the project covers a total construction area of approximately 19646m2 and a land area of over 17,000 square meters. It includes facilities such as the city exhibition hall, theater, science and technology museum, planning hall, and more. The project has a total investment of 186 million yuan.

The theater's interior walls are constructed by combining multi-dimensional materials, including MLS diffusers and reflectors, sound-absorbing panels, and sound-absorbing bodies, to ensure the quality of the acoustic environment in the venue. The venue's ceiling is a GRG-shaped ceiling, and the auditorium walls use a variety of materials such as MLS diffuse sound-absorbing panels, MLS diffuse reflectors, MLS inner arc sound-absorbing panels, MLS outer arc diffusers, hole-type sound-absorbing panels, and groove-type sound-absorbing panels. This acoustic design scheme not only satisfies the aesthetic design effect but also ensures a clear and transparent sound in the venue, providing the audience with a high-quality acoustic environment experience.

Through the use of high-quality customized acoustic materials and a fast-response engineering and technical service team, the renderings of the Science and Technology Museum in Meixi New City, Minqing County have been highly restored. The successful use of sound-absorbing materials has been an integral part of this project, ensuring a quality acoustic environment in the venue and enhancing the overall experience for visitors.
