Introducing the groundbreaking acoustic design of Jia Mei Experimental School! Following the "Jia Mei Education" philosophy of "combining blessings, integration, beauty, and harmony," the school has implemented specialized acoustic decorations based on national standards such as "Civil Building Sound Insulation Design Specifications" and "Auditorium Sound Reinforcement System Design Specifications."
For the multi-function hall, the acoustic design adheres to the specifications outlined in "Theater, Cinema, and Multi-Purpose Hall Architectural Acoustic Design Specifications" (GBT50356-2005). With an effective volume of approximately 2250m3, the hall ensures a full-field reverberation time of T≤0.9±0.10s at mid-frequencies of 500-1000Hz. The hall is designed to cater to academic presentations, small to medium-sized conferences, and artistic performances. To facilitate real-time monitoring and seamless program transitions, a control room has been added to the rear seats, reducing the seating capacity by 17 seats to accommodate approximately 473 people. The design concept of the multi-function hall embodies themes of youthful enthusiasm, vitality, growth, and forward momentum, represented visually through wood patterns symbolizing sunshine and vitality, with a background color of yellow and green accents to create an uplifting and team-oriented atmosphere. The use of regular rectangular wooden strips further enhances the contemporary and positive attitude of the youth. The walls feature acoustic panels with a ceramic crystal sand finish, while the ceiling is designed with double-layer gypsum boards. The audience floor is covered with PVC plastic flooring, and the stage floor is equipped with specialized stage flooring. The seating consists of dedicated auditorium chairs.
As for the gymnasium, the acoustic design focuses on achieving clear speech, sufficient loudness, and uniform sound distribution to meet the acoustic requirements for student training and competitions. With an effective volume of approximately 11000m3, the gymnasium ensures a full-field reverberation time of T≤1.4±0.10s at mid-frequencies of 500-1000Hz, following the specifications in "Acoustic Design and Measurement Regulations for Sports Venues" (JGJ/T131-2012). The gymnasium is primarily designed for basketball and badminton training and competitions. The architectural acoustic decoration and electroacoustic systems are tailored to meet these functions. Considering the multi-function hall's conference capabilities, the stage area of the gymnasium has been transformed into a table tennis area, accommodating various sports activities. To address sound quality issues such as vibration echoes and multiple echoes, the design incorporates sound-absorbing structures with red glass groove holes on the walls, full-frequency spatial sound absorption bodies on the ceiling, and PVC plastic flooring for the ground.
