Foshan Nanhai Bilingual Experimental School, nestled in the scenic Lishui Town within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is a prestigious educational institution in South China. Our company was entrusted by the school to serve as the architectural acoustic design consultant, tasked with crafting professional acoustic environments for a variety of spaces including a multi-functional theater, gymnasium, and lecture hall.
The multi-functional theater, with a capacity of 926 seats in a 7,500 cubic meter volume, is equipped to host diverse performances and events. Our installation of an advanced indoor reverberation adjustment system allows for the fine-tuning of acoustics to suit different types of performances, with an adjustable reverberation time ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 seconds.
The gymnasium features a basketball hall, swimming pool, and table tennis hall, designed with a minimalist yet regionally inspired aesthetic. We incorporated eco-friendly, flame-retardant, and energy-efficient pro audio materials, aligning with the school's commitment to achieving a three-star green building rating.
Beyond these facilities, our work extended to the acoustic design of lecture halls, rehearsal spaces, piano rooms, chorus studios, music classrooms, canteens, conference rooms, classrooms, and dormitories. In collaboration with civil engineers, fire safety experts, and HVAC specialists, we ensured that the school's acoustic infrastructure is on par with international standards, enhancing the educational experience for all students. Through the application of line array speakers and other state-of-the-art acoustic technologies, we've contributed to the creation of an academic environment that fosters excellence in learning and performance.
