Courtyard by Marriott Chengdu

Located in the core area of Qinhuangsi's central business district in Tianfu New District, a state-level new area, the Courtyard by Marriott Chengdu is one of the key projects in Chengdu's "Southern Expansion" urban strategy and construction of a comprehensive new development concept. With a building area of 42,000 square meters, the hotel is a national central city demonstration area.

During the initial stage of infrastructure construction, the Courtyard by Marriott Chengdu took into account the sound insulation effect of the wall. Through on-site investigation and analysis of the distribution of noise sources and transmission channels, a green acoustic solution was designed. This involved laying QPLAN sound insulation and vibration damping pads on the ground and sealing the connection between the vibration damping pads and the wall with glue to absorb ground impact sound. The sealing treatment avoided the rigid connection between the wall and the ground and the occurrence of sound leakage, and blocked the possibility of noise propagating up and down through the walls and pipes.

As a new environmental protection material, QPLAN sound insulation and vibration damping pads not only reduced noise but also solved the problem of odor in the hotel room. The high-quality accommodation environment and acoustic environment successfully shaped a green building project.

Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Chengdu's use of QPLAN sound insulation and vibration damping pads demonstrates its commitment to creating a comfortable and eco-friendly space for its guests. This approach is a prime example of how thoughtful and innovative design can be used to solve real-world problems and create better living environments.
