Established in 1989, Guangdong Baiyun College is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong. With 16 secondary colleges, the institution offers a comprehensive range of disciplines, including engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law, and arts. The project encompasses a single building with a total area of approximately 6000m2, comprising various spaces such as the lobby, auditorium, conference rooms, music rooms, and choir rooms. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 1345 and a volume of about 12000m2. Designed as a multi-functional venue, the auditorium caters to diverse needs, including film screenings, conferences, cultural performances, and festive events. Professional acoustic design, incorporating functional requirements and decorative effects, was implemented to provide a holistic soundscape experience. The scope of services included acoustic calculations, ODEON acoustic modeling analysis, construction and detailed drawings, acoustic material supply, on-site installation, post-installation maintenance, and support for important performances.
The project was successfully completed within a remarkable timeframe of only 60 days, achieving simultaneous acceptance for both decorative and acoustic effects. The venue was inaugurated on December 20, 2019, fulfilling its pivotal role in the "30th Anniversary Celebration of Guangdong Baiyun College." The project received high acclaim from the college authorities, recognizing the team's exceptional performance.
