Haihua Island International Conference Center

The Haihua Island International Conference Center is a remarkable project located in the picturesque Yangpu Bay of Baimajing, Danzhou City, covering a total construction area of approximately 100,000 square meters. The entire conference center venue resembles the vibrant and colorful sea coral. The theater hall of the center is quite spacious, with a need to ensure the sound spreads evenly across the venue without a long reverberation time.

To address this acoustic challenge, various sound simulations were conducted to analyze and summarize the acoustic data. Based on the site conditions, a practical and cost-effective acoustic solution was devised.

The materials used for the project included A-grade fireproof sound-absorbing panels, full-band sound-absorbing bodies, and other sound-absorbing materials, all of which were coupled with excellent installation techniques. This effectively tackled the problem of a long reverberation time caused by sound reflection. Additionally, it resolved other acoustic issues such as a prolonged reverberation time in local environments and insufficient sound quality and clarity in the peripheral environment. The new environmentally friendly profiles used in the project not only enhanced the visual appeal but also raised the acoustic performance of the Grand Theater at the Haihua Island International Conference Center to world-class levels.
